  • Is Island Beach Hideaways opened year round?

    Yes, we offer year round accommodations!


    The domes are a 4 season glamping package including the hot tubs as well.



    The domes also have a heat pump (with air conditioning) and an electric fireplace for those colder days/nights.

  • Can you book a single night stay with us?

    Yes you can!


    From October 1 to May 31 you can book a single night stay with us. 



    There is a 2-night minimum booking from June 1 to September 30.


    You can contact us with a date in mind or to see availability for single night stays during this season :)



  • Is there a deal for booking more than 2 nights?

    Yes there is! 


    If you book 5 nights with us, you'll receive 1 free night off the total of your bill :)


  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in is 4:00pm. Check-out is at 11:00am. 



    Early check-in and late check-out can be added to your reservation. 


    Kindly note that we will do our best to honour your request, but will be based on availability.

  • Are the domes kid friendly?

    The domes are adults only, not suitable for infants and/or children. 


    The design surrounding these Domes is with adults in mind and to create a serene location to relax and rewind. 

  • Are we pet friendly?

    We love animals here at Island Beach Hideaways but unfortunately we are not pet friendly at this time.



    However, we will be happy to accommodate a service dog with the proper documentation provided. Please let us know if your service dog will be accompanying you so we can properly prepare for your stay. 

  • Are any of the domes wheelchair accessible?

    Yes! Tranquility Dome is fully wheelchair accessible. With a very large open shower that is fully equipped with grab bars and a custom made bathroom vanity, accessible height kitchen counters for making delicious foods and a yummy coffee bar to indulge in. 



    Pomquet Beach Provincial Park is also fully wheelchair accessible with a Mobi Mat and Mobi Chair (a light weight floating beach wheelchair) to fully accommodate you from the boardwalk right into the ocean. How amazing is that!!

  • Can I change the date of my reservation?

    Reservation revision requests may incur a fee and will be decided solely by Island Beach Hideaways, dependant on availability. If you decide you need to change the date of your stay, please let us know before 14 days prior to arrival or as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate. Prices differ throughout the year.

  • Hot Tub Care

    We maintain our hot tubs with high standards. 


    Tubs are cleaned and water balanced routinely after every guest. 



    We ask that you refer to your Dome Binder before using the hot tub for care instructions 

  • Can we have visitors?

    We do not allow unregistered guests.


    There is a $100 charge for each unauthorized guest found on the property.



    If you wish to request guests in writing prior to your stay, we ask that you contact us with details and we will consider the request. 

  • Is smoking allowed?

    There is absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed inside the dome. The fee starts at $500 and can increase upon circumstance.



    Please feel free to smoke outside though and use the cans provided for proper disposal. 

  • Cancellation Policy

    Please read our cancellation policy carefully, as it is not common for us to make an exception for it. In order to avoid any misunderstandings, we would appreciate you paying attention to the following:



    All Reservation cancellations will be charged a 5% processing fee 

    Cancellations made by 10:00 am on the 14th day prior to arrival will receive a full refund

    Reservations that are cancelled 7 days prior to arrival will be refunded 50% 

    No Refunds if less than 7 days prior to the check-in date. 


    If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the paid nights will not be refundable.

    In case the guest simply does not show up (and does not cancel in advance), the total price of the reservation will be charged and this will be non-refundable.

    Failure to provide all of the accurate information about your booking prior to your stay could result in being charged for the full stay if cancellation is required. 

    The times and dates for all cancellation policies are based on the local time zone (Atlantic).


    Reservation revision requests may incur a fee and will be decided solely by Island Beach Hideaways, dependent on availability. 

    If you decide you need to change the date of your stay, please let us know at least 14 days prior to the reservation date or as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate. *Prices differ throughout the year. 


    If Island Beach Hideaways is forced to cancel a reservation due to extreme circumstances such as, but not limited to, severe weather, guests will be offered a reservation change without penalty.


  • Kayak/Water Sports/ Snow Shoe Rentals

    You will have the option to add your choice of several single kayaks, 1 double kayak or a 4-person canoe to your stay here at Island Beach Hideaways. 



    Paddle times are reserved for a 2 hour period. 

    Booking times 8am - 7pm


    Snow Shoe Rentals are available as well. 

    Rental times are 8am - 5pm


    *Waiver's MUST be signed prior to use.


  • What is the Cancellation Policy for Kayak/Water Sports/Snow Shoe Rentals?

    KAYAK/WATER SPORTS CANCELLATION POLICY


    You must cancel 24 hours ahead of your scheduled rental reservation for a full refund. If you cancel the booking on the day of the reservation or you don't show up, the full cost of the booking will be applied to your credit card. We will cancel the booking at no charge the day of the rental if the conditions are unsafe or miserable (high wind, pouring rain, heavy snow or thunder and lightning).

  • Do you kayak in the rain, wind and fog?

    We kayak in the rain, wind and fog...that's part of the experience and adventure! 

    If the weather is unsafe for any reason, the paddle reservations will be cancelled or postponed. You will be notified the day of the paddle reservation if we feel it is unsafe. There will be no charge if we cancel the paddle.
